How do I restore Pro on a new iPhone?
Open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. The same control is on the paywall. Purchases are tied to your Apple ID, so they come back before the app asks you to pay again.
How do I cancel the annual subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → FieldBuddy. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the paid year.
Why only three calculations a day?
The free tier is enough to check we match the book. A calculation is one settled result, not one keystroke. Reference tables stay free. Pro drops the daily cap and unlocks jobs, history, and Site Report export.
The answer doesn’t match my book.
Check the citation under the result and the table editions in Settings. FieldBuddy is a calculation aid: every result must be verified by a competent person against the current printed edition of the applicable standard. If a number is wrong, email me the inputs, the citation, and the page you compared it to.
Do I need a signal or an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no product backend. Calculations, tables, jobs, and tools work in a loft or a plant room with no signal. The only Apple traffic is StoreKit, if you buy or restore Pro.
Where do photos and locations go?
They stay on this iPhone. A job photo is re-encoded and stripped of EXIF, location included. A coordinate is stored on that job only. Delete the job and both go with it. Nothing is uploaded.
